Join us for beginner and developer-friendly Cyclocross coaching, by and for all women*!
Saturday 7th and 14th December | 2:30–4pm.
Each session will see you explore a range of Cyclocross and general bike-handling skills – from riding varied terrain and cornering to dismounting and carrying or running with your bike – in a fun, supportive environment. No previous off road experience required.
Session notes:
Cyclocross or gravel bikes are encouraged but MTBs are also great. If you don't have an off-road bike you can hire one from us for £5 – just add it to your session booking.
This is a mixed ability session, previous off road experience is not necessary.
The session lasts 1.5 hours: bring water and a snack.
Helmets are essential and we recommend active-specific clothing.
Gloves recommended and please consider relevant layers (including waterproofs) as this session will still run in bad weather.
Meet by the picnic benches, just beyond the pavilion building, on the grass. The sessions will take place on the off-road trails at the back of the main track.
If you're not sure if this session is for you or still have questions just get in touch: info@hhvt.org
We are situated at 104 Burbage Rd, London SE24 9HE. We’re a short walk (and even shorter cycle) from North Dulwich, Herne Hill or Tulse Hill overground stations and local bus routes can be found by clicking here. As you walk north-west along Burbage Rd (from the cross with Turney Rd) keep an eye out for some white curved walls, lovely wood panel gates and a small sign on your right-hand side.
We’ve a limited amount of free parking available on site but we encourage you to travel here by cycle or public transport where you can.
For more information about the recently updated traffic calming measures on Burbage Road click here or search ‘Dulwich Streetspace’. You can't access Burbage Road from the south (via the junction with Turney Road) on a weekday between 08:00-9:00 and 15:00-16:30. At those times you'll need to go via Half Moon Lane.
