Punchy MTB Races at HHV.

We’re bringing the fun to the woods at Herne Hill Velodrome with a fast, friendly off-road race night!

Riders will take on a short, twisty trail packed with fun technical features in a time-trial format — exciting for seasoned riders, but totally welcoming if you’re new to MTB racing. Everyone gets at least three goes on the course, with your best results across the heats deciding your overall placing on the night — and counting towards a series podium too.

Expect great vibes, fun prizes, cheering spectators, and the café open to keep the energy high. Whether you’re racing, watching, or just soaking it all in, it’s a proper woodland race party.

Part of our Summer of Off-Road, featuring racing, CX, training sessions, and plenty of muddy smiles along the way.

Racing starts at these times:

Youth (inc A, B, C, D categories) 6-7pm, including practice lap
Adults (inc separate Open Senior & 40+, Womens races) 7-9pm, with 7-7.30pm for practice.

Please note: This is a British Cycling (BC) Go-Race, therefore there will be no BC points but we will be following BC gender policies to award podiums. Please get in touch with any questions or concerns.

Location

Directions

We are situated at 104 Burbage Rd, London SE24 9HE. We’re a short walk (and even shorter cycle) from North Dulwich, Herne Hill or Tulse Hill overground stations and local bus routes can be found by clicking here. As you walk north-west along Burbage Rd (from the cross with Turney Rd) keep an eye out for some white curved walls, lovely wood panel gates and a small sign on your right-hand side.

We’ve a limited amount of free parking available on site but we encourage you to travel here by cycle or public transport where you can.

For more information about the recently updated traffic calming measures on Burbage Road click here or search ‘Dulwich Streetspace’. You can't access Burbage Road from the south (via the junction with Turney Road) on a weekday between 08:00-9:00 and 15:00-16:30. At those times you'll need to go via Half Moon Lane.
