Get Gravel Ready – Supported by QUOC

Whether you’re looking to ride gravel for the first time or you’re race-curious, this four week series is for you.

We’ll break down core off-road riding skills and explore gravel race technique so you come away with the tools you’d need to turn up to a gravel race startline. The sessions will be coached by experienced gravel racers with some special appearances from elite riders, mechanics, and QUOC shoes to cover your gravel knowledge from all angles.

These sessions are free to book thanks to QUOC and open to all women and non-binary people who feel this space is for them – in collaboration with HHV Women.

The award includes:
• Entry to The Gralloch – UCI Gravel Race 16th May 2026
• QUOC Shoes
• Rapha cycling kit
• Schwalbe tyres
• Met Helmet
• Precision F&H nutrition
• Support at the Gralloch from QUOC team

QUOC is grounded in the joy of the everyday riding ritual. We embrace an unorthodox path to performance, engineering footwear of elevated aesthetics and refined comfort that keeps the ride at centre stage.

– Age group: This session is open to people over 14 years old.
– Bikes: This session is suitable for any off-road bike.
– Bike hire: Gravel bikes are available to hire for an additional £5, just add them to your booking.
– Experience level: Some experience riding off-road is great but not essential.

What to bring?
– Helmets and gloves are mandatory
– Lycra is not required but we recommend that you don't wear anything too baggy. Layers are recommended, as well as a warm jacket for after. Shoulders must be covered.
– Remember to bring water and a snack.
– Check the weather and sunset. We run sessions throughout the year, so please dress appropriately. In the rare instance that we need to cancel due to snow/ice/high wind, we will try to inform participants at least 2hrs before the session.

If you are hiring a bike, please arrive at the containers 15 minutes before the session starts to get fitted on a bike to ensure that the session can start promptly. If you arrive after the session has started you may not be able to get your bike as the coach will be busy.

Meeting Point: Please gather by the off-road meeting point, as labelled on our site map here. If you arrive after the session has started, come and find us on the trails.

We’re a short walk (and even shorter cycle) from North Dulwich, Herne Hill or Tulse Hill overground stations and local bus routes can be found by clicking here. As you walk north-west along Burbage Rd (from the cross with Turney Rd) keep an eye out for some white curved walls, lovely wood panel gates and a small sign on your right-hand side.

We’ve a limited amount of free parking available on site but we encourage you to travel here by cycle or public transport where you can.

For more information about the recently updated traffic calming measures on Burbage Road click here or search ‘Dulwich Streetspace’. You can't access Burbage Road from the south (via the junction with Turney Road) on a weekday between 08:00-9:00 and 15:00-16:30. At those times you'll need to go via Half Moon Lane.
