Join us at Herne Hill Veldrome for a fun and festive race event to keep your spirits high and racing legs warm during the winter months. Taking place as part of the Friends of Herne Hill Velodrome Christmas event we'll be running a couple of exciting prize races from 1pm:
The 12 Laps of Christmas Reverse Win-Out, with great prizes for each lap winner
&
The Christmas Chase Race, where riders will be gridded around the track for their starting point with the fastest and most experienced having the longest race, and those with perhaps a little less power having some advantageous laps for free. There will be no drafting between categories until racers are on the same lap! A grand and festive prize will be available for the winner.
Entries will be limited in each category, so clubs and teams please put forward their finest racers for the event. Jan's Cafe will be open for the event, with hot food, mulled wine and our favourite Bianca Road beers available for spectators and racers during and after the event.
Please enter the race based on the Track League category that you raced in this season and where you feel most comfortable.
There will be a maximmum of 18 entries per category for youth racing, and Max 9 entries per category for senior racing
A category – Fast racing for our top riders who have been training hard and want a tough work out.
B category – Medium speed racing for local-level racers.
C category – More entry level racing for new, younger, older or less fit racers.
Enter online only, sorry, entry on the day will not be possible. Please read the British Cycling Rider Declaration that you must agree to before entering this race event.

As you walk north-west along Burbage Rd (from the cross with Turney Rd) keep an eye out for some white curved walls, lovely wood panel gates and a small sign on your right-hand side.
We’ve a limited amount of free parking available on site but we encourage you to travel here by cycle or public transport where you can.
For more information about the recently updated traffic calming measures on Burbage Road click here or search ‘Dulwich Streetspace’. You can't access Burbage Road from the south (via the junction with Turney Road) on a weekday between 08:00-9:00 and 15:00-16:30. At those times you'll need to go via Half Moon Lane.
